Brenda, Arizona, an area just northeast of Quartzite, produces a highly prized lapidary material referred to as Brenda Jasper or Patriotic Jasper.

Its makeup is composed of milky white quartz, banded agate and orbicular to agate jaspers of deeps reds, maroons, and boysenberry, yellow and purple material. Occasionally the Jasper Quartz combination displays variations of Greens Reds and Yellows with dendritic inclusions and druse-lined pockets.

The finest material takes a high polish and produces some of the most amazing patterned cabochons.
