Agatized Coral sometimes referred to as petrified or silicated coral is created when the calcium carbonate coral skeleton is replaced with silica bearing materials over millions of years, thus creating the petrified or agatized fossilized coral stone.

This specimen is a hand-cut creamy tan Navette with lighter circular patterns and darker geometric flower patterns in colors of orange and maroon. The stone is a one-of-a-kind semi-precious piece of art with both an upper and lower girdle to ease the setting of the stone. The stone is polished to a high vitreous luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.

The cabochon is ideal as a pendant, cuff, ring, and/or statement piece.
