Agatized Coral sometimes referred you as petrified or silicated coral is created when under certain conditions the calcium carbonate coral skeleton reacts silica bearing materials, thus creating the petrified or agatized coral stone.

This specimen has a creamy burnt orange color with lighter circular patterns and darker geometric flower patterns in colors of orange, brown and maroon.

The stone is polished to a high vitreous luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
