Amethyst Sage agate, a purplish-grey material with black manganese dendrites and an occasional gold color running through it. The stone is found near Denio, Nevada, a town located on the Nevada, Oregon border. Amethyst Sage is sometimes referred to as Purple Sage, named for its purple, grey color.
The stone is polished to a high luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
