Due to the vibrant red, orange, yellow, purple, pink, and even strikingly white, Arizona Rainbow Petrified Wood is often referred to "rainbow wood" or "pet wood".

This particular piece displays a unique mottled rainbow agate moss pattern with colors of orange, purple, light-yellow, pink and brown. The stone is cut in a Navette or Marquise with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate easy stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a pendant, ring, broach, cuff, wire wrapping and/or statement piece setting.
