Due to the vibrant black, red, orange, yellow, purple and even strikingly white, Arizona Rainbow Petrified Wood is often referred to "rainbow wood" or "pet wood".
This particular piece displays the disruptive tree rings on a white background as layers across the face of the stone.
The stone is polished to a high vitreous polish both front and back. The back is flat for setting.
