Due to the vibrant red, orange, yellow, purple, pink, and even strikingly white, Arizona Rainbow Petrified Wood is often referred to "rainbow wood" or "pet wood".

This particular piece has a unique yellow, brick-red, white and purple pattern that resembles painting with brush strokes. The stone is cut in a Skewed Navette or Marquise with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate easy stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a pendant, broach, cuff, wire wrapping and or statement piece setting.
