The famous Brenda Jasper has such a unique pattern that the stone is easily recognized by lapidarist worldwide. Due to its colors of red, white and blues, it is often referred to as the Patriotic Jasper.
Brenda Jasper is found out in the desert with the closest town being Brenda, Arizona, hence where the stone gets its name. The town of Brenda is located in the southwest part of the state just northeast of the famous town Quartzite, AZ.
This rare piece displays a swirled pattern of Plum, Boysenberry, specks of Quartz with some purples and blues. Primary colors are variants of rusty reds, boysenberry, and raspberries with milky white quartz. The stone is polished to a high luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
