The Kalama River is location in Washington State just north of the town of Kalama, Washington. This River is fed by Mount Saint Helens.
A unique hand polished semi-precious cabochon cut from a rare and uncommon Mount Saint Helens Carnelian Geode Agate. The stone is a one-of-a-kind medium piece with the deep golden amber color surrounding a lighter yellow crystal center. The deep shades of amber lighten towards the center opening of the stone. Due to its delicate nature, the stone has been stabilized. The stone is cut in a large oval with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate stone setting. The stone measures 1.90 x 1.01 x 0.27 inches. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.
The cabochon is ideal for a pendant, bracelet and/or statement piece.
