Dendritic Opal is a type of common opal with dark manganese oxide, tree or fern-like inclusions without any color play. The base opal, sometimes known as “potch”, commonly occurs in a variety and wide range of pastel colors.
This specimen has a dendritic display that looks like a stand of trees in a dense fog.
This stone is polished to a high luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
