Crazy Lace is one of the best-known varieties of banded chalcedony. Mexican Crazy Lace Agate is found exclusively in the area known as Chihuahua, located in Northern Mexico. Crazy Lace is known for its stunning fortified patterns and bands of colors. The agate gets its color from infused iron and aluminum.
This specimen shows a variety of the crazy lace patterns traveling in one direction down the face; fortified, peach colored bands with gold colored trim.
The stone is polished to a high vitreous luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
