Crazy Lace is one of the best-known varieties of banded chalcedony. Mexican Crazy Lace Agate is found exclusively in the area known as Chihuahua, located in Northern Mexico. Crazy Lace is known for its stunning fortified patterns and bands of colors. The agate primarily gets its color bands from infused iron, aluminum and other minerals.
With a little imagination and the stone oriented in the landscape mode, you can see a sunset or sunrise with a shoreline and surf. An island is located in the foreground.
The stone is polished to a high vitreous luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
