Crazy Lace is one of the best-known varieties of banded chalcedony. Mexican Crazy Lace Agate is found exclusively in the area known as Chihuahua, located in Northern Mexico. Crazy Lace is known for its stunning fortified patterns and bands of colors. The agate gets its color from infused iron and aluminum.

This specimen has a beautiful cream and maroon yoke offset by the peach colors. The fortification pattern is well balanced down the stone.

The stone is polished to a high vitreous luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
