A hand cut and polished semi-precious cabochon made from this rare Turritella Agate Fossil Stone. Turritella agate is found in the Green River Formation of Wyoming. The stone has shades of dark brown with cream to tan colored Elimia tenera shells. The stone is cut in an Oval with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a pendant, cuff and/or statement piece.

The stone is polished to a high luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
