Turritella agate, a dark brown translucent material is found in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

A hand cut and polished semi-precious cabochon made from the rare Turritella Agate Fossil Stone. The stone has shades of dark brown with cream to tan colored Elimia tenera shells. The stone is cut in a Skewed Navette or Marquise with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a pendant, cuff and/or statement piece.
