Graveyard Point, located in Eastern Oregon, in the Owyhee Canyon along the Oregon & Idaho border is named after a small cemetery in the town of Homedale, Idaho. This area is well-known for the clear chalcedony and plume-like inclusions found within the seam agate found here.
A hand cut and polished semi-precious cabochon made from the popular Oregon Graveyard Point Seam Agate. This stone displays a field of pale yellow and white plumes suspended in a transparent field of chalcedony.
The stone is cut in a right facing sail with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate easy stone setting. The stone measures 1.52 x 0.81 x 0.32 inches. The specimen is polished to a high glassy shine.
The cabochon is ideal for a pendant, ring and/or statement piece setting.
