Crazy Lace is one of the best-known varieties of banded chalcedony. A newer discovery named Rayitos Lace or in English meaning Lace Rays displays nice sprays of red and silver rays with the appearance of dropped pick-up sticks.

A hand cut and polished semi-precious cabochon made from Rayitos Crazy Lace rough. This specimen shows a variety of the ray lace patterns on its face; pink, orange, white and red outlined mauve and beige that sweep across the face of the stone. The cabochon is cut in a Heart with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate easy setting. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a pendant, broach, cuff and/or statement piece setting.
