Lapis Lazuli, also referred to as Lapis, is a deep royal blue rock comprised of the main minerals lazurite, calcite and pyrite. The stone showcases the royal blue with heavy and even distribution of white pyrite and a small amount of mica across the face of the stone. The stone is cut in a Pear with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a ring or component in a jewelry piece.
