Lapis Lazuli, also referred to as Lapis, is a deep royal blue rock comprised of the main minerals lazurite, calcite and pyrite. The stone showcases the royal blue with a random distribution of white calcite and pyrite across the royal blue background. The stone is cut in an Oval with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a pendant, ring or component in a statement piece.
