Lepidolite is a rare lavender colored, lithium-rich mica mineral. When impregnated with quartz, Lepidolite is used as a gemstone. It may at times also be found in the colors of pink, light red or purple.

In this specimen, the white is the mineral Albite, the lavender is Lepidolite the speckles are Mica and the milky area is quartz.

This stone is a one-of-a-kind medium height piece with lavender plumes of Lepidolite and white Albite across a milky quartz field. The stone is cut in a Trillion with both an upper and lower girdle to facilitate setting the stone. The cabochon is polished to a high luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a pendant and/or smaller statement piece.
