Medicine Bow Plume Agate is mined in southeastern Wyoming in the area between the Medicine Bow National Forest and Laramie, Wyoming.
The stone is polished to a high vitreous luster both front and back. The stone is heavily covered with black dendrites. The back is flat ready for mounting.
