Mookaite, is a visually special jasper only found in the Mooka River of Australia.

Mookaite Jasper is a highly prized semi-precious stone from Australia. Mookaite is visually identified by its distinct shades of red, yellow and cream colors. This stone appears to display a snow covered peak visible through the wing of a bird. The stone is cut in a Pear shape with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate easy stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a pendant, broach and/or statement piece setting.
