Mookaite Jasper is a highly prized semi-precious stone from Australia. Mookaite is visually identified by its distinct deep shades of red, yellow, ocher and cream colors. This stone appears to display the image of a bird flying across the cabochon. The stone is cut in an Oval shape with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate easy stone setting. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a pendant, broach and/or statement piece setting.
