Mookaite Jasper is a highly prized semi-precious stone from Australia. This Mookaite stone is a deep maroon red with some splashes of yellow around the edge. This stone is cut in a small Sail shape with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate easy stone setting. The colors are half cream yellow and half red. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.
The cabochon is ideal for a pendant, broach and/or statement piece setting.
