Mookaite, a special jasper only found in the Mooka River of Australia. The typical primary colors for Mookaite are Deep Red, Yellow Ocher and Cream.

Mookaite Jasper is a highly prized semi-precious stone from Australia. This Mookaite stone is a deep maroon red with some splashes of yellow around the edge and a white haze up one side. The stone is cut in a Round shape with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate easy stone setting. The stone measures 0.69 x 0.66 x 0.18 inches. The specimen is polished to a high vitreous luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a ring and/or component in a statement piece setting.
