Mozambique, a country in Africa just due west of Madagascar; a hop skip and a jump across the water.
This specimen was cut from a nodule. The pink center is off center, which lends to the name ‘Pink in Rings’ that I gave this piece.
The stone is polished to a high luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
