Mozambique, a country in Africa just due west of Madagascar; a hop skip and a jump across the water.
This specimen was cut from a nodule. This a round cut and polished agate with a partial waterline off to one side and the remainder semi-transparent.
The stone is polished to a high luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
