Mozambique, a country in Africa just due west of Madagascar; a hop skip and a jump across the water.
This specimen was cut from a pink Mozambique nodule. The agate has a very prevalent pink color with the presence of white cross banding.
The stone is polished to a high vitreous luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
