Owyhee Jasper or Owyhee Picture Jasper is found in the Owyhee Mountain Range of Idaho. The range extends on the lower southwest side of the state and to the west and parallel to the Rockies. A variety of distinct patterned jaspers can be found in the Owyhee Wilderness.
This specimen has a highly dendritic display almost like a painting.
This stone is polished to a high luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
