Various types and grades of Porcelain Jasper have been found in the united States, Russia and Mexico. The stone gets its name from the appearance of porcelain pieces set together.
The brecciated jasper that comes from Sonora, Mexico comes in the colors of cream, grey, deep purple, black, peach, red, maroon, orange and fuchsia.

This piece contains color variations form blacks to reds with swirls of white reminiscent of Van Gogh’s Starry Night.
The stone is polished to a high luster both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
