Purple Cow Agate and Jasper is a mixture of variations of red, yellow and purple agate in a host rock of brown or mauve colored jasper. Purple Cow is found in the McDermitt Caldera on the Calder Rock Shop’s claim. The Caldera Rock Shop is located in the southern end of the town McDermitt. The town of McDermitt straddles the border of Oregon and Nevada.

This specimen is a speckled mauve color. The stone’s provenance: McDermitt, Oregon.

The stone is polished to a high gloss finish both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
