Pink Rhodonite, a manganese silicate that contains iron, manganese, black manganese oxides and calcium. Pink to red manganese is used as a gemstone in jewelry.

A light pink semi-precious cabochon, cut and polished from Pink Rhodonite. The stone exhibits a small area of black (manganese) with a predominate areas of pink (pink manganese) rhodonite. The stone is cut in an Oval with both a lower and upper girdle to facilitate stone setting. The stone measures 1.36 x 0.70 x 0.24 inches. The specimen is polished to a high luster.

The cabochon is ideal for a pendant and or ring.
