Shoofly Agate is a very colorful banded, plumed or dendritic agate found within narrow seams of basalt in central Arizona.
This specimen has the center of the thunder-egg visible, with the colors of vibrant oranges, yellows and purples surrounding it.
The stone’s provenance: Houston Mesa, Arizona.
The stone is polished to a high vitreous finish both front and back. The back is flat ready for mounting.
