Due to its close proximity, the name for this agate comes from an historical ruin called the Shoofly Village, located several miles down the road. The area renders many small multi colored agates
Nicely Symmetrical Patterned Shoofly Plume Agate with splotches down the center like buttons on a clown shirt and orange lines down the side similar to orange lapels.
The stone is polished to a high vitreous polish both front and back. The back is flat for setting.
