Due to its close proximity, the name for this agate comes from an historical ruin called the Shoofly Village, located several miles down the road. The area renders many small multi colored agates
This particular piece appears to look like a baby inside a womb. The purple plume in the center is surrounded by translucent agate material and framed with an orange crescent.
The stone is polished to a high vitreous polish both front and back. The back is flat for setting.
