Due to its close proximity, the name for this agate comes from an historical ruin called the Shoofly Village, located several miles down the road. The area renders many small multi colored agates
Transitional Colored Shoofly Agate with a Mixture of Contrasting Maroons, Purples, Orange, Whites and Reds.
The stone is polished to a high vitreous polish both front and back. The back is flat for setting.
