Due to its close proximity, the name for this agate comes from an historical ruin called the Shoofly Village, located several miles down the road. The area renders many small multi colored agates.
This particular piece displays a randomly patterned mauve and white plume.
The stone is polished to a high vitreous polish both front and back. The back is flat for setting.
