Due to its close proximity, the name for this agate comes from an historical ruin called the Shoofly Village, located several miles down the road. The area renders many small multi colored agates.
Shoofly Plume Agate Sail with plumes down one side of the face with colors of contrasting reds, orange, whites and lavender.
The stone is polished to a high vitreous polish both front and back. The back is flat for setting.
