Wild Horse also referred to as Crazy Horse or Appaloosa Stone is a semi-precious white, maroon and red-brown mottled stone. The specimen contains plumes of white magnesite scattered amongst a red-brown and maroon to brown hematite rich matrix or substrate. The stone is sourced from a remote area between Globe and Tucson, Arizona. The stone is cut in an oval making it perfect for a ring or as an accessory stone in a setting. The stone has an upper and lower girdle that facilitates stone setting. The stone is polished to a matte finish.
